1. The course will give you an understanding of the SMM7 section R12 Drainage below ground, How to apply these methods from the drawn information to allow the taking-off of quantities. And from the take-off to the preparation of the bill of quantities production.
2. Provided is a pdf drawing for the example paper together with an excel file showing the method for the taking-off and bill of quantities. 1. Read and become familiar with section R12 of SMM7 and the Code of Measurement.
2. Work through the example drainage schedule sheet and paper referring to the drawn information and R12 of SMM7.
3. Develop the drainage schedule and attempt the assignment paper without referring to the model answer.
4. When completed the assignment check your paper against the model answer. If necessary, refer to the documents to ensure you fully understand the paper.
5. Finally answer the test paper and email to kenhubble@hotmail.com for assessment.
6. After completing the module and received a pass mark in the test paper the learner will receive a Certificate.
